There are a lot of really amazing ways to turn artwork into wearables. We fell in love with the processes of hand screen printing by taking a class at Waldo's and Co. in Gettysburg, PA.
Screen Printing- A Multi-Step Artistic Process
It all starts with a design, created in Adobe Illustrator. The design is then printed on a clear sheet, and used to create the screen.
