Story of Blood Rose

We started Blood Rose in the summer of 2023. J had started screen printing at Waldo's in Gettysburg and loved the process.

We decided that we wanted to start designing some cool merch for Gettysburg. We started with a couple of sticker designs and screen printed tees and totes.

We then started offering printing services to friends, and it spiraled from there. We now work from our small home studio. We make designs focused mainly on local Pennsylvania Legends, lore, and ghost stories. We love cryptids and punk rock environmentalism.

The name "Blood Rose" comes from the legend that the soil in Gettysburg is so iron rich as a result from the bloody battles that the roses are hauntingly vibrant.
